Pemadaman kebakaran TPA Putri Cempo, Solo, memasuki tahap baru setelah metode water bombing lewat helikopter Polri dihentikan pada Selasa (8/9) karena dinilai efektif melokalisasi api di sisi timur. Tim gabungan kini fokus memadamkan Blok B dengan membuka akses jalan menggunakan ekskavator serta mengupayakan Teknologi Modifikasi Cuaca untuk mempercepat pendinginan. Status tanggap darurat akan dipantau ketat hingga 17 September; jika api belum padam, penanganan dilanjutkan dengan status transisi demi memastikan api benar-benar padam permanen.
