BPBD Buka Suara soal Semeru Erupsi Terus, Level III Sejak Setahun Lalu

BPBD Jawa Timur menyatakan erupsi Gunung Semeru yang terjadi pada Senin (7/9) bukan hal baru karena status Siaga atau Level III sudah berlangsung sejak 9 November 2025 atau sekitar setahun lalu. BPBD Jatim terus berkoordinasi dengan PVMBG terkait batas wilayah aman, namun hingga saat ini belum ada instruksi evakuasi karena aktivitas vulkanik masih dalam pola biasa tanpa peningkatan yang mengkhawatirkan. Semeru merupakan salah satu dari lima gunung di Indonesia yang berstatus Siaga atau Level III, bersama Anak Krakatau, Merapi, Sinabung, dan Lewotobi Laki-laki.
