Presiden Prabowo Subianto melepas 430 atlet Indonesia untuk berlaga di Asian Games Aichi-Nagoya 2026 di Jepang dengan berpesan agar mereka memberikan penampilan terbaik dan tidak mudah menyerah. Pelepasan dilakukan di Kompleks Istana Kepresidenan Jakarta dengan penyerahan Bendera Merah Putih kepada perwakilan atlet Veddriq Leonardo. Sebanyak 281 anggota kontingen hadir langsung dalam seremoni tersebut.
