Menyelami ”Galeri Alam” Pesisir Barat Pulau Obi
PT Trimegah Bangun Persada Tbk (Harita Nickel) meluncurkan buku Keindahan Laut Pesisir Barat Pulau Obi Seri 1 yang mendokumentasikan lebih dari 300 spesies ikan karang di perairan Pulau Obi, Halmahera Selatan, termasuk ikan napoleon dan ikan bayan benjol hijau sebagai penanda ekosistem laut yang sehat. Buku ini lahir dari pemantauan rutin tim Environmental Marine HSE Harita Nickel bersama IPB University melalui scientific diving, dan ditujukan untuk pelajar serta anak-anak muda Pulau Obi. Peluncuran di Kompas Institute, Jakarta, juga menegaskan inovasi restorasi terumbu karang buatan (reefcube) Harita Nickel dari sisa pengolahan bijih nikel sebagai wujud sinergi industri dan konservasi.

- Harita Nickel's Environmental Marine HSE team conducts routine marine ecosystem monitoring, both weekly and at specific periods.
- Monitoring is conducted internally and externally, including collaboration with Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Science at IPB University.
- Team performs scientific diving, recording coral reef fish species by species and using standard references for identification.
- Book serves to document underwater richness, especially for students and young people on Obi Island.
- Harita developed reefcube artificial coral reef restoration innovation using nickel slag from nickel ore processing.
