PT Petrokimia Gresik melalui program Pestani Bawang Merah Nyawiji mendampingi 120 petani bawang merah di Kabupaten Nganjuk, Jawa Timur, dengan hasilnya produktivitas naik sekitar 11-12% menjadi 20 ton per hektar dari sebelumnya 18 ton per hektar. Program ini menyediakan pupuk, edukasi pemupukan berimbang, uji tanah, pendampingan budidaya, dan teknologi pertanian untuk memperkuat ekosistem dari hulu ke hilir. Nganjuk sendiri merupakan salah satu daerah utama penghasil bawang merah varietas lokal Tajuk di Jawa Timur yang menjadi sentra nasional dengan produksi 476.666 ton pada 2024.
