TNI AU menerjunkan helikopter water bombing untuk memadamkan kebakaran di TPA Galuga, Bogor, dengan kapasitas hampir 3 ton air per sortie. Bupati Bogor Rudy Susmanto menjelaskan bahwa pemadaman terkendala akses karena titik api berada di ujung paling belakang area TPA yang luasnya puluhan hektare, membuat mobil pemadam tidak dapat menjangkau lokasi. Akibatnya, petugas menyambung selang hingga 400-500 meter yang menyebabkan tekanan air menurun saat mencapai titik api.
