Mendes Beri Rekomendasi dalam RUU Reforma Agraria ke Baleg DPR RI
Menteri Desa Yandri Susanto dalam rapat dengan Baleg DPR RI menyampaikan data 34.323 desa atau sekitar setengah dari total desa di Indonesia berada di dalam kawasan hutan, dengan 72,28 juta jiwa penduduk, sehingga RUU Reforma Agraria dinilai menyangkut keberlangsungan pemerintahan desa dan sumber kehidupan masyarakat, bukan sekadar status tanah. Yandri menekankan masih banyak masyarakat di kawasan hutan menghadapi ketidakpastian lahan dan konflik dengan aparat penegak hukum. Sebagai masukan untuk RUU, ia memberikan lima rekomendasi utama: redistribusi tanah disertai rencana aksi pasca-redistribusi, penetapan jangka waktu perlindungan tanah hasil redistribusi, perubahan fungsi tanah yang tunduk pada tata ruang, pelibatan tegas pemerintah desa dan lembaga adat, serta prosedur transparan pelepasan lahan dari kawasan hutan untuk pemukiman lama dan aset desa.
