Rupiah menguat 55 poin (0,31%) menjadi Rp 17.577 per dolar AS pada pembukaan perdagangan Rabu (9/9/2026), didorong sentimen domestik sejak pelantikan Destry Damayanti sebagai Gubernur BI serta pelemahan indeks dolar AS akibat menguatnya yen Jepang hingga level terkuat tujuh bulan. Penguatan yen dipengaruhi intervensi Bank of Japan dan pernyataan Menteri Keuangan AS, sementara harga minyak WTI naik ke tertinggi tiga bulan karena ketegangan di Timur Tengah. Rupiah diprediksi bergerak di kisaran Rp 17.550–Rp 17.700 per dolar AS, dengan pasar menunggu rilis survei kepercayaan konsumen Indonesia siang ini.
