Purbaya sebut cicilan utang Whoosh berkisar Rp1 triliun per tahun

Bandung (Whoosh) telah direstrukturisasi dengan skema cicilan sekitar Rp1 triliun per tahun selama tenor hingga 80 tahun, sehingga beban pengelolaan utang dinilai lebih ringan dari perkiraan. Ia membuka peluang menunjuk satu Special Vehicle Mission (SMV) di bawah Kemenkeu, seperti INA atau PT SMI, untuk mengelola utang tersebut sebelum proses alih kelola dari Danantara pada 15 September 2026. Setelah pengalihan ke pemerintah, Purbaya menargetkan perpanjangan jalur Whoosh hingga ke Jawa Timur dengan menggandeng investor China, dan menyebut pelibatan SMV Kemenkeu dapat memberikan keuntungan hingga Rp800 miliar per tahun.

After the transfer, the government plans to extend the Whoosh rail line to East Java.
Purbaya has discussed the extension plan with the Chinese Finance Minister and relevant authorities, who expressed interest.
Engaging an SMV or BLU under the Finance Ministry is projected to generate profits of up to Rp800 billion per year.
Purbaya believes SMVs or BLUs under the Finance Ministry have adequate capacity to manage the debt.
One such SMV company can book annual profits of approximately Rp3 trillion to Rp4 trillion.
