Vonis ringan oleh pengadilan militer tingkat banding terhadap empat Terdakwa penyiraman air keras terhadap aktivis HAM Andrie Yunus menunjukkan kegagalan peradilan militer dalam menjamin akuntabilitas. Majelis hakim memangkas hukuman penjara dua Terdakwa dan membatalkan sanksi pemecatan dari dinas militer, sekaligus mengabaikan rantai komando yang lebih tinggi dan motif struktural di balik serangan.
